Pics, please!!
I've been considering the Staccato CS for the past couple years, but haven't been able to get my hands on it for "feels" since the few shops I've visited don't keep 'em on the shelf.

As soon as it arrives I’ll post it here. I did the customized build with the serrated slide and the 3.5 lb. trigger. It’ll be the new ‘24 model, so the frame dimensions are a bit different than the ‘23.

Your builds have always been spot on for my preferences! Excited for you to pick it up once it's ready.
Can't wait to see the final product. All the reviews I've watched suggests the CS is a fine daily, as well as a blast (pun intended) on range days, hahaha

I was going to opt for the threaded bull barrel, but since this will be an off-duty carry that has to meet department restrictions (…along with the modded P365 I posted awhile back), I chose to go with the standard bull barrel. I purchased a Staccato C2 DUO back in 2021, but it was bigger than I thought and it wasn’t a good off-duty carry gun for me. The CS should fit the bill. I’ll run it with the red dot optic as well.

Thanks brotha! I’m excited to see how the CS runs as a daily and at the range. It’s a bit wider than the P365, so that will be an adjustment.

I got the full size C. I'm debating grabbing a compact grip C next.

Got a Ronin Leather holster in for it the other day for OWB carry with a TLR7HLX. I also ordered a GCode Phenom for IWB carry. Should be here soon.

I like that Ronin bro. Any additional info you can provide about that and the GCode?

Ronin Leather Holsters SW Snap On with blue shark snap loops. He was the only one I could find with the TLR7HLX mold. It fits perfectly. Conceals well under an XL t shirt. I wore it all day Thursday and no one said anything about me printing. I even took a nap on the couch with it. It distributes the weight pretty well (also using a Kore Essential belt). A few times during a meeting, I actually had to check to see if I had it on.

Got the G Code Phenom Commando in yesterday and have only worn it on the drive to work. I'm wearing it hip IWB. The gun is too long for me to try AIWB.
I'm going to wear it to a few stores with my kids tomorrow to see how it feels moving around all day.

I like the minimalist design of the GCode. If you feel that it is stable I may give it a try. I tend to wear my clothing fitted so bulky holsters don’t always work for me.

I noticed you are using the SCS Carry. How do you like it? I drove over to Holosun yesterday while on duty to look at the the 508T, EPS/EPS Carry and 509T; they are in my station’s patrol area, so it’s easy to pop in there on the fly. After messing around with the various optics, I think I’ve narrowed my choices down to the green dot/multi-reticle EPS or EPS Carry.

The Gcode actually sits high so it's been a good holster these past two days. It's pretty well hidden. I might remove the modclaw thing. I never liked them.

I was going to get the EPS Carry in green but wanted to try the SCS Carry's multiple sensors. It works fine but now I wish I got the EPS Carry. I just like setting it low and leaving it low. I was going to get a Trijicon RMR HD to try their new multi sensors but I could not find one in stock that wasn't over $600.

the circle dot is too busy for me so i leave it on dot only.

I have astigmatism, so red rarely works and the green circle/dot helps my eyes focus. Reading that you would’ve preferred the EPS helps solidify my decision. I do like the RMR, but the battery being inaccessible is a deal breaker.

My stint in the 300BO world was short lived. Not because I did not enjoy the round, but because I am not going to spend a fortune to stock thousands of rounds.

So I ended up just not shooting the build and it was money collecting dust. Sold the ammo & mags. Have the barrel still up for sale. I will say it was stupid quiet with a can

I decided years ago no new calibers. I'm a nut that squirrels (get the humor) away ammo for every gun I own. Now I try to stick with limited calibers:

22 LR
9mm
45 ACP
40 SW
357
223/556
308
12 gauge

If it isn't in those calibers I won't even look at it. Heck, as little shooting as I'm doing I should dispose of stuff not accumulate more.

It's not from the USA, and I inherited enough rounds of it on zip-strips to hold off a small army.

Sadly, I only have one box (20 rounds) of .223 for the NY-SAFE-compliant ugly stick.....

I work in the industry so every time we build something new I'm like "Hmmmmm maybe I need to build one of those for testing....." LOL. I do a lot of horse-trading too, so at least I release them back into the wild.
