Picked up my Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical. Coming from a 1301 Tactical, I can feel the 1 lb weight difference. The 940 feels front heavy. Planning to break her in on Sunday. If I like it enough, let the modding begin!

For Xmass I grabbed a 450 upper: https://tromix.com/product/450-bushm...-right-handed/ fully upgraded w/ tank brake.

Everyone says go Tromix vs. well everything else in 450. Best accuracy, quality, less(none) FTE FTF if using the right mags.

I added this scope: https://www.sigsauer.com/tango-msr-lpvo-1-10x28mm.html <--reviews are good and I can't justify or need a better scope at the short distances of 450. I don't need a 1-10x a 1x6 for 450 is probably fine for 450 but I can use this on another rifle in theory in the future. I wanted an eotech vudu lpvo but they are double to triple the money vs the sig.

Now I can take my AR out hunting for white tail. In NE we don't get shots past 100-150 usually so this should be fine.

I was thinking of a red dot and magnifier but settled on a scope.

The Mesa Urbino stock I got for the 940 came with an out of spec tube causing the plunger to get stuck & I had to whack the charging handle with something to break it loose. Sent in for exchange. Hope the new one is good.

Also ordered the OR3Gun plunger. Maybe that will allow the gun to cycle lighter loads reliably. If not, no biggie as I have Federal slugs that it loves

Anyone need a Threaded for rem choke (CHoke included) Carlson 18.5" barrel for Remington 870 and JK Armament Rem-choke suppressor adapter?

The adapter is new in package. The barrel was mounted, but never fired.

I sold the 870 that I mounted the barrel on.

Got the stamp back on this beauty a little while ago. Still haven't shot it yet, but hoping to change that soon.

It's B&T KH9SD. Part of a limited run B&T did a few years ago. I believe there were only a few hundred made. The KH9's party piece is that you can swap out the magwell to one that will take Suomi magazines. Mine's pictured here with an 80 year old 50 round coffin mag. I love the juxtaposition of a modern integrally suppressed sub gun with a WWII era magazine!

Now I have another bug up my azz. My 2 16" barrel ARs are on the fat size. One is a little over 7 lbs & the other, Geissele SD, is just shy of 9 lbs without the can.

I want to build something lighter in the 6 lb area including optic. Then maybe I'll seel the SD. The 7 lber will be more once that can gets out of jail...

Joined the Thermal game finally for an upcoming hog hunt. Playing around with it last night out my back window with some deer in the field. Going to be a new way of hunting for sure.
