The rumor mill was always in high gear in basic and included warning/scaring recruits of the belief that if the gun's serum bottle was allowed to go empty, it resulted in an injection of only air...causing instant death from heart stoppage. LOL...Remembering how gullible so many were.

^ Met a guy yesterday at Trader Joe's and we were talking about wine and I told him that Port wine is named that because it comes from Porto, Portugal. I said "I'm 68yo and I just found that out this year from a Portuguese friend of mine." He said "I'm 65 and I just found that out right now, from you." We both had a laugh. I could've sworn this guy was older than me.
