The rumor mill was always in high gear in basic and included warning/scaring recruits of the belief that if the gun's serum bottle was allowed to go empty, it resulted in an injection of only air...causing instant death from heart stoppage. LOL...Remembering how gullible so many were.

I said "I'm 68yo and I just found that out this year from a Portuguese friend of mine." He said "I'm 65 and I just found that out right now, from you." We both had a laugh. I could've sworn this guy was older than me.
