They could of at least let him finish the season. Obviously there are things going on there behind the scenes. To do him like that tho is kinda BS. Not like the guy was there for only a few seasons and couldn’t turn it around. McCarthy was there like 10 years with 8 playoff appearances and a SB.

It's because Rodgers is a giant pansy and is dictating what happens with the team. His contract will bury that team into the bowels of the NFL for over a decade. McCarthy will be better off somewhere else. Maybe as the Pats defensive coordinator.

Very true. These QBs being paid enormous contracts seriously cripples clubs ability to pay others. It’s basically forcing QBs to to more with less. Unless Rodgers agrees to restructure his contract Packers are in a deep hole.

As far as McCarthy going to the Pats....you never know. However Belichick seems ok running with this “ no defensive coordinator “ defense. They did hold Vikes to only 10 points.

McCarthy is an offensive guy, not defense. he'll have a head coaching job next year. And yeah, Rodgers was a dick this year and pretty much played like shit compared to his standards. But they have a young, aggressive GM and one of the best salary cap guys in the league. Back as playoff contender in 2 years max.

Actually, if McDaniels leaves Pats (maybe for GB) McCarthy could take his spot as offensive coordinator. Belichick is a huge fan of his. That would be WEIRD.

Exactly!

There's a reason why Rogers is labled as, and comes across as a "douchesack".

It's not like Rodgers got his coach fired....after that performance Sunday, its obvious he had lost the entire team. Really not that unusual after 13 years. The message gets stale after a while. Think same thing will happen to Lewis in Cincy, eventually even Tomlin in Pitt. But Tomlin seems to reinvent himself enough to keep his players invested.

I hope none of you were actually dependent on Vikes beating Pats.

I believe they Jets will interview him as they need an offensive minded coach for Sam Darnold.

Agree. And before he became a head coach McCarthy had a reputation as QB guru. Now the league has to decide if time has passed him by.

Oh really. And you just saw an example otherwise. Only a douche would say that.
