do you stay here or you come and go?

if you are wondering about spring, its now although its a bit cold here, unusual thing, but we will be back on track in a week or so (according to the weather predictions)..

best time to visit Cyprus is april may june. July and August only if you can stand 40 degrees celcius. But we are surrounded by water, you can jump in anytime..

For anybody seeking to travel here let me know, i will tell you where to go, been living here for 31 years now

I know that I blew out the white on the neck, but I couldn't resist exposing for the beautiful feathers every place else on this bird.

may have to look into going there one day. Definitely not when it's 40C though.... I barely survive when it gets to 32-34C here (very humid however) I'm better in a dry heat.

The plumage was worth the exposure.

Nice pic, Dave. The detail you achieve amazes me.

We went the Champaign today to shop and have dinner and ended up driving home in an unexpected snowfall. I hate driving in snow at night. It's like hyperdrive on acid.

This is my front yard. Note the daffodils coming up. They're confused by the bizarre changing weather we've been having. So am I.

Thanks. It's all about ETTR (expose to the right) and using an incredible lens.

This particular image is worth looking at in the Original size over at Flickr. Just click on the image here and that'll take you to it a Flickr, then right-click on it and select Original size, assuming you've got a fast connection.

translation = 1977 was a year that you don't remember too well from all the acid you were doing, but the one major memory you have is watching Star Wars A New Hope while high

It was just Star Wars then. Saw it in a theatre when I got home from Korea. But that shot is pretty much what it looked like driving home tonight. Dizzying to say the least.

lol. Great movie. I wore out my VHS versions by watching them so many times growing up.

But I know that vision with the snow. Not something people from the south are very familiar with. If at all.

you should post this on a ghost hunting site, they would go crazy of it thinking all the snow flakes are spirits captured on film

Hmm, are you a Flickr member? Maybe you need to be a member or have a "Pro" account. Sorry.

I KNOW I'll see more of that. It snows around here 'til May usually, but it clears right up.
