Here's one that I considered entering in the "action" photo contest, but I figured that dcstep could take much better wildlife photos.
This shot was taken behind the Skalkaho Steak House, near my parent's place in Hamilton, Montana. There were a bunch of mule deer milling around behind the restaurant when we got there, and I took this pic as one was running away. run, Bambi, run!!! by Spanner1751, on Flickr

if the B was left in one place, there would be a massive hot spot on the car.
guess that I should have thought more before asking. edit: wow, I confused myself last night, I must have been a zombie when replying... Last edited by The1; 03-01-2012 at 08:42 AM.. |

My creative take for the day..
Some sort of inception mirror inside of a mirror shot I thought it was interesting.

Took me a while to figure out what's going on there. You should try adding one more mirror. You must go deeper!

Twisted cedar at the Grand Canyon:
IMG_3671_DxO by dcstep, on Flickr This was taken at the Grand Canyon last November. I blessed with an ideal snow for photography while at one of the most magical places in the world. Dave

Nasty outbreak of T-Storms here today. I was driving in and noticed what I first thought was road salt. Then it dawned on me that it was hail that had fallen just before I got there. Glad I was running late.

Not a chance. Between the weather forecast and the fact that today is "Unofficial St. Patrick's Day" on campus, I left the Z safely at home in the garage. Last thing I wanted to risk is some drunk kid barfing on my softtop.

Walking around for 3 hours.. two things:
1. its very difficult to find anything interesting to shoot 2. the crumbler backpack is very comfortable
