I remember those. My first pack of Marlboros came from one: 35¢ for a pack. Now they're ~$8.00 a pack (says the interweb). It's expensive to kill yourself these days.

We just hired someone right out of college…21 years old. I was listening to one of my favorite albums 30th anniversary edition (30th anniversary is early next year but they released an anniversary edition this year for some reason) and they asked what band it was, when I told them the response was “wow I didn’t know the band was that old.”

I know the 90s is officially (partially) 30 years ago but damn talk about a reality check. I remember buying this album when it came out too, like it was yesterday.

It would have been mom's 82 birthday yesterday.
The boys got together at the "ancestral house" that went to brother #3. He tried real hard to make mom's lasagna, just didn't work out right.

I was probably conceived while my parents were returning from serving in the Peace Corps in Pakistan.

I had a vending machine company back in the 70's and we installed those everywhere. A company called National made them and they were built really well.

Mine was at a local gas station where I could buy smokes underage. Not proud that I smoked as a kid, or at all, for that matter.
