It'll be best to sort out the one in Japan, if the new replacement in waiting is the same configuration as the one used in Melbourne then more so.

The problem is not the porpoising or gearbox location, it's the new FIA regs.

Lol I agree. The FIA took away so many tools the teams could have used to fix this issue - like the hydraulic suspension system for instance. They should have allowed the teams to keep that.

For sure some teams left in a quandary while championship starved Ferrari have been chasing shadows all this time and struck lucky now, at least with LEC car for the time being.

The Fia seems to have grabbed the wrong end of the stick when they replied to Max's comment that the AM road car used as a pace car was a 'turtle' not allowing teams to warm the hards enough by going too slowly and indeed is likely the indirect cause of Sainz going off the track with too cold tyres and getting trapped in the sand.
The Vantage road car is clearly is too slow and it's simply not good enough the Fia saying it's not the intended purpose for a pace car to go as quick as teams expect.
It is them after all that okay'd these new P tyres to be used and about time the creaking floors of Paris hq wised up to put themselves in the drivers shoes more and what they have to deal with as well as the plethora of new rules the new Fia leader has put in.
Why, for instance can't a Ferrari FXX-K be used.

Because it sounds better than a F1 car?

Because Ferrari doesn't need the marketing and would never donate one for that use. They think they're way above such pedestrian shows of the brand.

Question is... will an Audi RS6 be big enough in the back seat... and faster than an AM around the track?

That AM has body roll like a GT car in the corners... you can tell how hard the safety drivers are sending it... hahaa... I bet they either hate that car... or love it.

At the end of the day it's a car however it looks and as they have the most wins and championships so would be appropriate for F1 if they did use one not necessarily an FXX whether they want to or not.
