Awesome build, you planning on doing some preventative maintenance? Like rod bearings for example?

This is incredible, love the creativity
Looking at those headers, It has got to be a PITA bolting them up

Congrats on an amazing project! Subbed for updates.
Traded in my 08 M6 for my current M3. That engine/exhaust note is something I'll never forget; in fact I hope to have another one some day that I'll never get rid of. Can't imagine what it will feel like in a car that small! |

This is such a cool project !! I was waiting to see if that beauty of a V10 could fit!
The custom long tube exhaust headers you had made look like pieces of art! Keep those pictures and information coming! Cool idea, excellent work ! Happy Motoring!

Awesome work OP! Take lots of foresight and creativity to make such a transplant work. How does it sound with the custom exhaust?? If not up and running yet, look forward to further updates!

Ugh... I'm honestly just speechless. You made it look like the whole thing just dropped right in there with the exception of the brace for the radiators lol
My ultimate dream is to own a huge warehouse with all types of (old and new) BMW's & Porsches, and abundant amount of parts so I can Frankenstein things till the day I can't. Huge props dude, would love to see this magnitude take course beyond what you already did (ie. suspension upgrades, interior fabrication - allow for all controls and gauges to properly work without looking like a Christmas tree) |

wow congrats on the awesome build! This is a serious technical challenge. i can't believe you got that motor in there!! incredible. are you going to use the DSC system from the M5? you are going to want some stability/traction control i bet. this car is going to be absolutely bonkers crazy to drive! i am excited to see the final product. again, great job so far!!

Haha du bist ja verrückt!
But honestly, great idea! Can't wait to see the final result. Im so happy you took the S85 and not the S65, the V10 is just brutal. How much will the car weigh with that block, around 15xx kg? And what do you expect the weight balance will be? Do you plan any traction control? Well, I hope the best for you and your build.

Great build! Congratulations! One of my favorite engines ever built and in that MCoupe body it must haul ass. How do you get the weighting equal? Cement blocks?

That's amazing. It's the grown up equivalent of strapping a jet engine to a go-kart.
Fabrication work looks good, exhausts look good too, looks like you've still maximised the ground clearance. |
