Not Canadian GP related but I ran across this charming video of Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart. Both gentlemen were / are such treasures! Enjoy if you have 6 minutes to spare

There is a low chance of rain for race day but could be present for a least one or two of the sessions with Friday being the most likely then the chances reduce going up to quali. The threat of race being cancelled ''appears'' to have been reduced though Montreal Council has the power to do this at any time but I'm hoping for more rain to reduce the risk of that happening

If Max can nail the CGP then he will have equalled the great Ayrton Senna's record of 41 wins and it appears there is only hearsay and the usual BS to challenge Max from the overhyped Merc with it's motor mouth manager.
Max has said himself that the pictures of the floor of the RB 19 are useless and of little use for Mercedes however much they pat themselves on their backs.

More importantly is how Max prepares himself for this track and his car for the perfect balance to emulate his win here last year.

Here's an interesting article from former F1 driver Herbert who thinks that Norris would be the perfect candidate to eventually replace Perez should he fail to deliver if the rot continues.
Horner is putting on a brave face in supporting Checo and hiding his anger well at the stupid crash which led to the floor reveal at Monaco and eating into their reduced budget with the car repair.

The well liked Norris gets on well with everyone and I myself think he has much more talent yet to be unleashed with a competitive car that is being stifled with the lacklustre McLaren.
In a nutshell Ricciardo is the back up driver should things get really bad with Perez and Norris would be in the long term thinking to continue with the Red Bull dream team, my recommendation too

It's kind of strange that a few days ago Wolff was stating that he would not do anything to try to block RB's technical advancement in F1 through complaining to Fia (even now he's moaning about something he doesn't like on the 19's floor) yet Dominaceli comes on now saying there will be no manipulation of the rules to impede on RB's turn of speed for the forseeable future, so did these two discuss this prior to Domi coming out with this now.

My guess is that they'll bring out the news after the Austrian GP and before Silverstone. All because of the UK fanbase of Hammy.

Yes Norris would be a very good competitive driver to the team. It would be very interesting to see him against Max in the same car.
It's still early in the season but chances are that PER won't be a match for VER, like last year and his season start was very bad of course.
And RIC now probably gonna be a commentator for a few races for ESPN
(?), that is of course the beginning of a definitive exit from F1.
And of coures Norris was very much superior to Riccardo in the same McLaren car.

There is no question that Horner only brought him in because of his embarrassing departure from McLaren being an ex RB driver.
