An M3! Before my e90 m3 I drove an e93 m3. Before that I was splitting time between a first generation Boxster and a Honda Odyssey.

65 Mustang. I bought it when I was 14 and fixed it up. Never could solve the overheating. Cars nickname was "Old Faithful", she spewed regularly.
79 Chevy shortbed pickup. 350, cam, headers. Fun truck, and got me in some trouble.
79 Moped. College freshman living on campus coudn't get a car permit due space, but mopeds were ok. I don't remember brand, but it got me around.
81 Tbird
79 Buick 4 door something or another. Bought at auction. Filler car.

83 Ford F-150 4x4. Work truck.
95 Ford F-150 First new vehicle.
2003 Tacoma New.
2005 Tacoma TRD Sport trim New. Gave it to my son for his first vehicle.
2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser New. I totalled it 6 months in. Fell asleep. USAA paid it off and sent me $5000. I was tickled.
2005 Saab something or another. Filler car. POS.
2010 Mazda 3. New. Great car for the money.
2020 BMW M340i Custom order.
2023 M3. Finally! Custom order.

Never could afford an M, and now that I *could* I can't justify it. Car prices are crazy. I'll wait till the kids are out of the house and then maybe I can get a fun toy. Will have to get the wife's buy in of course though.

My list was from what I remember:

'99 Maxima (standard)
'08 BMW 335i (standard)
2012 Landrover LR2
2014 Jetta (crapbox - only for a year until lease was up)
2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 (bought - fun car till a tree fell on it in 2019)
2017 Audi S6 twin turbo v8 - fun car
2022 Chev Silverado Trail Boss (will hopefully make this work for the next 4-5 years without major repairs)

None of them matter anymore...

jk

I loved a lot of my cars. Too many to list, but here are my favorites:

BMW E21 320i - Dog slow and already old when I got it, but my first car, and my first bimmer.

VW GTI MKII - Ahh the memories! My first of many manuals.

2000 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro - My first AWD vehicle, and the first one I bought by myself just out of college. It was used, but it was mine! (Previous cars were partially funded by my parents, of course!)

2009 Audi S4 25Quattro - The first "dream car" I was able to get. Limited edition, V8, manual.

2011 Honda Civic - I gave this car to my parents, bought and paid for as a thank you for supporting me my whole life, even after I irresponsibly killed the E21 doing burnouts, crashed the GTI in the rain, then blew up the transmission trying to shift without using the clutch, and hit a tree with my '95 Civic in a street race. It still runs to this day!

2013 F30 328i - My first time back in a BMW after many many cars and years later.

2016 BMW F30 340i - I only owned it for 3 months. Notable to be because of how it made me lust for an M3

2016 BMW F80 M3 - base model, but my first M car.

2019 BMW i3 REx - best commuter car I've ever had. That's right, THE BEST.

2018 BMW F80 M3 CS - "Dream car" attained #2. I never thought I would have the chance to get a CS, but I was lucky enough to find one.

2021 BMW G82 M4 Competition X-Drive - Back in AWD since owning several Audi's previously. In an M car no less with no AWD understeer!

Damn, I think I need to live a little. My wife and I combined (we are 40):

2017 MB GLS450 (hers)
1998 MB ML320 (hers)
2003 Acura RSX (mine)
2007 BMW Z4M Coupe (mine)

Still have all 4 cars. Along the way I owned 2 motorcycles but those are gone.

I just bought my 2018 f80 comp after driving a modded cadillac ctsv for the past 8+ years. This is kind of my first BMW, but my wife has been daily driving her e36 for the past 25 years(!), so I've obviously driven that quite a lot.

^^ maxima 02 6mt, I had one and was a blast back in the days. early 2000s probably one of the fastest and fun sedan on the market.

vias block, exhaust, intake spacer, drop ( to avoid wheel up), apexi air fuel controller and specV lsd transmission. It was fast and cheap.

Modified manual trans Maxima, now that’s an interesting unique build.
