I started a 41 book fantasy series by Terry Pratchett called "Disc World" a couple of weeks ago. I'm on the fourth book now titled "Mort". I'm quite enjoying the series so far. Time will tell, there's a long way to go yet.

I've been stuck at home w/COVID the past 2 weeks (only had mild sore throat and a little body ache). So I finished my other 2 fantasy books.

Taking a break from the fantasy/fiction realm to expand my knowledge. Started Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad original trio. I'm in the middle of the CASHFLOW Quadrant, and will then read Rich Dad's Guide to Investing: What the Rich Invest in, That the Poor & Middle Class Do Not!

Tonight I'm reading the NYT Book Review.
I read very few books these days, but can't miss a Book Review!

I just got a second print hardcover of "Portnoy's Complaint" because the head yenta in my coop is being downsized to live with NJ relatives.
This woman was never married, & regularly busted me for slightly long hair, etc. Very surprised she owned this book!

Yeah bro - Sorry I should clarify that these are not bad books. These are the some of the best Sci Fi books i`ve ever read (listened to).

The depression is because I agree with his view of the universe (world), which is quite quite bad in these publications.

Just started reading Tom Clancy's "Without Remorse". I want to finish it before the movie comes out at the end of the month.

Before that I was in the middle of the Michael Connelly's Bosch series. Those have been pretty good so far, but it shows me just how far the tv series strays from the books.

I've read all the Reacher books and enjoyed them all for the most part. I know everyone says this with book to movie adaptations, but the movies do not do them justice. And of all the available books to make into movies, they've picked a couple of the weakest storylines!!

All time fav fantasy book series is The Dresden Files.

We like the same authors. I loved the Reacher series. The older ones are the best. I got bored with some a few years ago but the last few were on track again. It blows my mind they cast Tom Cruise in the movies. Reacher was supposed to be huge! WTF?

I also liked Bosch, but haven’t kept up with those. I have a hard time with Clancy sometimes. He tends to get into so much technical details due his background, he loses me.

Did you ever read Nelson DeMilles John Corey series? Or Greg Isles Penn Cage series? Reading season is almost here. I love sitting outside in my lounge chair in the sun with a good book. I don’t read too much in winter.

Tom Cruise was a producer and his company TC Production, forked-out lots of money. He just cast himself. Go figure...

It’s just wrong. At least stick to the basics of the character. Obviously a lot of detail gets lost going from print to screen.
If you didn’t read the books, you’d never know. I’m always disappointed when I see a movie after reading the book.

I did enjoy Morgan Freeman as Patterson’s Alex Cross.

Patrick. I forgot Vince Flynn. You have to read him. He past away a few years ago and someone else picked up his Mitch Rapp series but his original books were awesome.

I've finished the fourth book in the Terry Pratchett's Disc World series and I'm waiting for the next few to arrive. Tracking says they should be here Monday.
The Expanse by James S.A. Corey was another great series. I didn't enjoy the tv series at all though. They got most of the characters wrong and the interaction between the characters didn't work either. I read the books first and then tried the tv series. I only made it to the third show and gave up on it. A friend of mine watched the shows first and then read the books. She said she enjoyed both but felt the books were better.

The Disc World series that I'm reading right now is 41 books on its own. Good luck my friend, good luck.
