That is crazy talk. There are leaps and bounds of improvements between this and previous games. Now if you said there is not much of a difference between the PS4 & PS5 versions then I would be more inclined to agree. LoL

Im always happy to help people with the challenges or licenses. I havent played in a month but did Gold every license and challenge. Was working on track challenges gold.

IIRC i quite literally ran out of gas at the last 100m and coasted through. Took a few tries to get it right. Let me know, i.e. PM me or post on here. I have some videos on youtube for some challenges and licenses, got a few more on PSN.

I know IM VERY LATE to the party as far as the thread goes, but man This damned mission on Fuji with the GTR... Well, just look at the miles i racked restarting it lol. Also how close I got to the porsche. I am also on controller (Was ps4) and got all golds.
Stopped with circuit experience because I am not good with time trial lines. I am significantly better with racing lines.

At this point I've done all of the Menu Books, and more than half of the Missions, and only have $6M, which isn't even enough to buy a used McLaren F1. I've only purchased 3 cars (I had to), and have spent money sparingly. Beyond that, I bought the Anniversary edition that comes with 1.6M credits, and they still owe me $400K.

Absolutely your opinion is your and not trying to change it, but I will say that I am really enjoying this aspect of the game. I’m learning SO much about cars and I love it.

Also, my God PD loves cars.
There’s just nothing like GT for me. I’d call it car porn but that really does not do it justice.

It’s more like car heaven.


For people who want to just get right into the racing, I get it.
But GT has always kinda been a car rpg lol.
I love that about it.

Been playing for a few days and it’s really growing on me.
Like being 10 years old again.
Good stuff.
I think we’ve achieved photo realism with the grafx, it’s on point.
My wife thought it was a movie at first because I was watching the “scrapes”.

How's GT7 compared to Forza Horizon? Never played GT

Haven’t played forza yet.
I have an Xbox but just haven’t gotten around to it.

Gt is great.
No complaints. The cars are probably as close as you could possibly get to them without owning them, kinda amazing really.

I only drive from drivers view inside the car and I get a great feeling of “being there”, all the sounds are unique and the driving characteristics are totally different as well. A BMW is a drift monster whereas a Porsche is a stupid fast point and shoot corner to corner, whereas a Ferrari… we’ll, Ferrari is just God mode.

I actually suck at driving the 911, I get better times than an m3 but just barely, idk why but my 911 gt3 rs has terrible understeer. It’s just the sheer speed of the Porsche that gives me a better time than the m3… but the m3 is SO much fun to drive, a natural drift monster, just glides all over the track. If I had to guess, I’m just used to the m3 (e46) and if you’re going too fast the car just drifts awesomely… but the Porsche is stuck right to the ground, so much grip. I probably need to take the corners with less speed. Or maybe it’s the full lsd settings, idk.

The Ferrari is insane. It carves through any corner like butter, and at serious speed too. No contest it’s my best time car, but I think the e46 is the most fun car to drive so far.

I have no idea if these cars really drive like this, but I’m pretty sure Polyphony Digital does model the real sounds and character of the cars on the game.

It’s remarkable.
I do wonder why the Porsche feels so bad though.
I hate driving it.

Oh, and lastly… the game gets damn hard.
It’s got me choking the life out of my ps5 controller on many occasions, white knuckle driving for sure.

Starts out fairly easy but it gets real tough.

Do you guys use a wheel to play GT? Any specific recommendations? I tried a Logitech G29 and it felt rather cheap/plasticky.
