Funny thing while running the back country roads (not really) I stop into a copse of trees with a wall behind it. Sneak my hose out the bottom of my shorts and glance up at the wall. Lizard, about 5" including his long tail, comes running over the wall. Then down the wall and onto the leaves. I'm thinking maybe he heard the water running. Comes right for me, and I direct the stream at his head. At the last minute, possibly because of the toxic stream just beginning to burn his eyes, he veers off from his apparent target of my foot.

I guess maybe I invaded his territory

Having had my knee op I'm having difficult straightening my leg & my hamstrings are very tight despite having physio twice a week & following the exercise regime that I've been given so I am curious as to how the magnesium tablets have worked out for you.

Magnesium works only against muscle cramps by overload in sports training , and will not help you with your recovery problem .
I know about your knee from your thread and you should be carefull in the beginning with the stretching .
On the other hand ..by your knee op. you actually need more stretching but you need to do it very slowly in the beginning because this requires time !
Be patient my friend and force nothing . Rome was not built in one day !

At your age.... get away from weight training and do Yoga and Functional training. Do Xfit.... but not the crazy Xfit the 20 year olds on steroids do.

So, somewhat related, possibly because of discussion above: Why is it that just about the midpoint of my runs, it seems my Sphinx always wants to push it's head out????? I dropped a few kids at the pool about 3 hours before my run, and STILL I had to think about it, all slippery with concentration, after my run.
