My favorite by rage is "renegades of funk". They have lots of great music. I don't always like their politics though.

I despise country music more than getting needles in my eyes. But, Southern Rock? That was awesome. Marshall Tucker Band, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet. I mean, how can you go wrong with 3 lead guitarists??!

I can’t believe that the greatest rock song has not been mentioned:
Dream On - Aerosmith Ps. I could also see an argument for Stairway to Heaven but it’s more than just a song!! |

I hate to admit it, but their best song is "Back in Black". I know...we've all heard it 100,000,000 times. But it is truly an iconic rock song. I really prefer the older Bon Scott stuff, but their 1st 2 records with Brian Johnson were also really good.

These lists are very much contributor's age dependent. A list of "greatest rock song" with no mention of the Beatles or Rolling Stones isn't much of a list. Rock very much existed in the 60's, boys and girls.

I'm going to give the rock chicks some love, but I'm torn picking just one, so I'm picking 2 Barracuda Crazy On You
