My wife went to Korea last year and bought a counterfeit Yves Saint Laurent purse that looks something like the attached picture. It's a $1500 bag she paid around $200 for. When we go out, it's very obvious seeing other women checking out her handbag. So, if it makes her happy, who are you to deny her ??

^^^ I am the asshole that used to buy my xbox nice bags and shoes for christmas/birthday/etc.

However, one year she needed to replace a bag that she used everyday. It was a bag that would get worn out quickly. So I convinced her to get a very high quality knock off. She still uses it to this day, and it is one of her favorite bags. (Mostly because she gets complimented on it all the time) Cost a 1/5 of the actual value for the real deal and she didn't give a shit about it getting fucked up.

I just read your post so I'm not sure what everyone thinks or have said but it's a girl thing to me. Guys have other interest like for example I spent around $2000 for my golf set and about $4000 for my wheels which my wife does not care for but she understands it's guy thing so yes you wouldn't spend that much on a purse but I'm sure 85% of the girls out there will want to.
