I don't live in South Florida, but know too much when Braman sued BMW NA in federal court back in 2017 for violating the Florida Dealer Act, as the case is still ongoing. Unreal how BMW will use this center ranking as a defense now.

https://www.businesswire.com/news/ho...ida-Dealer-Act
I remember that lawsuit and it also included the West Palm location. Remember how, after the lawsuit was filed, Braman Miami and West Palm all of the sudden started appearing on the best dealer list when they rarely made the list prior to the lawsuit? My belief in the validity of the ranking system went out of the window when that happened.
Yep, then BMW NA countersued, criticized Braman as a poor performer back in 2017–then a Center of Excellence Center. Yeah right, keep on drinking the spiked kool aid in Woodcliff Lake.

My guess since I'm part of the sales industry(not automotive), these awards are probably based off of highest profit margins and loading the customer up with a bunch of crap they don't need. A list with best service centers would be much more useful.

+1 They're known to be very competitive in pricing for new cars in the DC area. I've never dealt with their service department, but I know they offer to drop off loaners and pick up your car at your home/office.

I heard about Braman before online when they did some sketchy things. Can't remember exactly what but I think it was one of their cars.com reviews and it had really disturbed me.

Also it seems like they are suing left and right. It's interesting that they sued Audi as well for the identical thing.

I am as well, I know its based on the volume and not the M cars but the cars they have in their inventory (at least the M ones) were really low specced cars.. Their customer service was ok, the guy was honest and would not take a deposit for an allocation that they didn't have so I appreciated that

Lol Paul Miller a bunch of crooks purchased 3 times in last 9 years with them , they wanted to charge me $10,000 over msrp to order a x7 , I can see if they wanted to sell me one on there lot for more money not to wait , but to order ??? No issue ordering a x7 so went to Atlantic City bmw who is not on this list and they even gave me a military discount and loyalty discount off the msrp on exactly what I wanted , I will never do business again with Paul Miller bmw
Lol, who was your CA? The family has bought over 20 cars from them and always get a seamless, easy experience. My dealings with them since 2000 tells me they are worthy of the award.

Funny, my experience with both is the opposite - BMWNS was always great, ethical, etc., Chapman - I nearly wrote to the state AG after my last experience there a year ago, it was THAT bad. Absolutely criminal activity by F&I.

BMWNS is a Penske-owned dealership. I've had a ton of experience with various Penske joints and they've all been positive. My wife is waiting for a new Jetta GLI from VWNS, also Penske-owned. No markup over MSRP, and they are even honoring the VW "Partner Program" certificate that will get her an additional $500 discount from final sale price.

The Center of Excellence awards are the highest honor a BMW center can receive for overall customer satisfaction and operational performance.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the electrifying performance of this year’s winners and mark the return of the prestigious Center of Excellence award following a temporary pause in 2020,” said Sebastian Mackensen, president and CEO, BMW NA. “Our dealers are integral to the success of the BMW brand and we are extremely grateful for their tireless efforts, leadership and commitment to our customers. We look forward to an exciting 2022.”

Passport BMW in MD huh?

Hmm. Before I bought a BMW years ago, I bought a Lexus from Passport Toyota next door and that place absolutely sucked. One of the worst experiences. Refused to honor promises...an extra key, oil changes, etc. I wrote angry emails to the owners of Passport about the whole experience, who had passportbmw email addresses. Never got a response/call/nothing. Maybe the BMW dealer is better than Toyota...prob is but I told myself I'd never go to any passport dealer again anyway. 🤷🏽*♂️

BMW of Silver Spring and BMW of Catonsville have been great.
Second the plug for BMW Catonsville. They are the tops.

What does it say (mean) when the BMW Dealership local to the biggest BMW Vehicle Manufacturing Plant in the entire world doesn't even make the list? If not taking delivery at the Performance Center - across the street from the plant - then this local Dealership is where BMW employees (in South Carolina) pick up their "program" cars.. At least according to the information I have.. But instead of garnering even a mention, Dealerships in Des-Moines and Iowa make the list. Wow those other Dealerships must be outstanding indeed.

I've dealt with both dealerships listed in GA. Bought my current M4 from Taylor BMW and get it serviced at United BMW. Can't say much about United as I've had issues with them in the past when buying and negotiating, they were the worst to deal with. Service is ok.

I bought 3 BMW's from them when I lived in VA in the late 2000. It was a great experience. But, I have heard that almost everyone I dealt with from sales to service have left and the quality went down.
