I not so sure my friend, one particular team is on a 'Newey' level now and maybe beyond, McLaren for one and Ferrari are getting there with RB due to come on song then Merc.

Honda is not doing too well now with engine swaps needed with grid penalties to Merc engines which are soldiering on further.

The 'Frankenstein' cars then will be a pile of mert comparing with the still huge but slimmer 24/25 cars. With the strange shape cars in '26 I don't think there will be much pace difference and the stragglers now will catch up some.

All i can say is the hotter the better 'cause those Larens fly whether hot or rainy and it's simply better for Ferrari and RB for hot and dry.
