That's not good. Damn that is something a guy would do, but a chick in a ten month relationship saying that she loves you? That's beyond fucked up man. Give her an ultimatum. Man the fuck up and tell her how it is. |

So we went out to dinner and talked things over and now she's asleep in my bed.
She told me they never dated but only went out a couple times and that she was just trying to keep him as a friend. She also sent him a text saying that her actions were embarrassing and inappropriate and that they were no longer gonna speak so long as he has feelings for her. I still want to kick his ass though... ha It might take some time to get my trust back, though. and yea, I'm in da 505 |

honestly, you will never gain 100% trust back, the back of your mind will always have that little voice...it just depends on how well you can ignore it

Good to hear you didn't do anything rash and things seem to have worked out. I hope that she's being sincere. |

I have a feeling she is. One of the reasons i got so upset is because I could never imagine her fooling around on me. She stays at my place 4-5 nights a week and we see each other every day. Idk when she'd have time. ha Idk, something tells me she's telling the truth. I just hope its not just me wishing she is. Also, she's pissed at me for reading her texts. I mean, i know its fucked up, but there shouldnt have been fucked up for me to stumble upon in the first place. |

I know you want to trust her, but if there is suddenly a password on those texts, listen to the little guy in the red suit on your shoulder. If you are considering marriage, there should be NO secrets that require passwords. . .

I wasn't doubting you, I went back and re-read...I guess every one's different but I wouldn't talk about marrying a chick after only being with for 10 months

the "trying to keep him as a friend" routine doesn't really work, specially if the guy has feelings for her.

Why are you in a serious relationship in the first place? You're still in school so what do you really know about "love"? And why do you need a GF? So you have no game and have to tell someone you "love" her in order to get laid?
Just keep her in your rotation and go find more friends with benefit. Don't be talking about love and marriage until you're at least 30. |

hahahaha. I've been through my "getting laid" stage, but when you find someone you actually love the sex get 10x better. I know what you mean though. my first couple years of college were like that. I just didnt have a problem settling down for a girl i could honestly see myself having something real with. |

Well, good luck! I gotta say from the outside it looks bad.
-10 months is really not a long time. -Why is she trying to be friends with someone who obviously has different feelings for her? -Why would she give "just a friend" a chance if things didn't work out? I'd say be very careful. I understand you're in love, but you have to be sure that she is, too. Don't let it blind you. Also, don't be mad at the other guy. It really isn't his fault. If she's giving him the green light to text and "give him a chance", you have to expect that he's going to act on it. She really needs to be the one to say (to every guy that hits on her) that she's in a loving, committed relationship, and that she's not interested. Any answer less than that, and she's leaving herself open for guys to romantically (or sexually) approach her. I do hope that you guys are ok, though. And that this experience was something that you both grow together from. |
