GSP v Koschek matchup is going to be great. I don't know if Koschek is going to be able to defend GSP's takedowns, Kos has a strong base but GSP is really quick and he pulls it off almost every time. I think GSP has the best ground game in terms of holding control and position but he doesn't necessarily do a great deal of damage. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I personally think both fighters have come a long way but Kos will def be taking it to GSP this time both on the feet and and on the ground.

the worst thing about all this, its gonna be forever before the fight happens. they have to cast and film the next season of TUF then air it and then they get to fight

The fight is still a while away but we could potentially have it anytime after UFC 116 which is only a couple months away. TUF is only filmed in a few weeks and the fighters on the show only have days between fights. They will probably need a few months when they come off the show as it's a title shot but I wouldn't put it past later this year.

Forrest v lil nog will be good too. I think Lil nog will come out on top though. I don't see Griffin as a top contender anymore. |

I'm excited about the fight. I was never really into the UFC until recently when I saw TUF Heavyweights. It's gonna be a good fight. Evans or Jackson... Who do you think takes it?

He's a cool guy and good to watch but he lacks technique and is basically a brawler. I don't think he can cut it against the likes of Machida, Shogun etc and we all saw what happened against Silva.

negative. If it's a TKO it will be rampage. I think if Evans control's the fight like he did with the bigger Thiago then he will win. If he doesn't and tries to stand with the bigger Rampage he will be the one getting TKO'd. Rampage hasn't fought in 14 month's but he is suppose to be in great shape so this one should be good. |

Agreed. He did beat Shogun though. I would like to see a rematch. He is does ok because he is a big 205'er and can throw a punch. But you saw what happened when put in with a highly technical fighter such as Silva he got KO'd in 50 seconds. It is all about style matchups. Rua like to brawl and I think that is why he lost he was a little too aggressive against forrest. Machida and Silva are more defensive fighter's and are not good matchups for a guy like Griffen.

Rashad v Rampage... What a fight!!
Props to Rashad for going in and getting the job done. He looked like the more complete fighter and I think he's earned a title shot against Shogun. I think his speed gave him a huge advantage and he seemed to control the fight every time they went into the clinch. In the 3rd round Rampage rocked him but he didn't capitalise on it, similar to what Thiago Silva did in the 3rd round against Rashad. I think the clinch work and wrestling was a part of Rashad's game plan because Rampage looked completely gassed by the end of the fight. The fight definitely lived up to the expectation, I was really on the fence about this one but Rashad nearly won the fight easily. The highlight of the card was the Todd Duffy fight where he got KO'd. Surely that will be remembered as one of the all time greatest fights. Also, the lil Nog decision was questionable imo. All in all, a good card. Last edited by BMW86; 05-30-2010 at 07:49 AM.. |

the Todd Duffy fight was crazy, could believe Mike Russow took all those hits in the first round and was still standing, then the KO in the 3rd round, i nearly lost it overall a good card |

I haven't seen the whole card yet but I saw the main event, Chuck v Franklin. Looks like Chuck underestimated Franklin and got caught. He looked a lot bigger and was fairly aggressive, scoring points the whole time but Rich Franklin was taking it. I think Chuck's chin has been weakened and he needs to be more cautious of getting caught because he's been KO'd a few times now but at least he went out swinging. He really needs to be more elusive but I had Chuck winning that 1st round comfortably until he got knocked out. To be honest, I feel similarly about Rich Franklin, every time he gets caught I have flash backs of his devastating defeats against Silva and Belfort. The Chuck Liddell fight was a good fight for Rich at 205, I hope he is successful at this weight class, until Silva decides to move up
