As we approach what will become "TV History" in ratings and scope....

I wanted to re-watch some of the seasons. And I often wonder which is considered the BEST Season??? I was always partial to Season 4. And low and behold, a simple google search proves that it is in fact the TOP Rated!

Sunday, the second episode we watched the TV volume was turned up from normal max of 12 to 37. Interesting how much more enjoyable the shows are when I can actually HEAR what the freak they are saying.

Hey Unc.... I remember your comment about not being able to hear the show too well.
I will go as far as to say that half of this shows tremendous appeal and entertainment, is sound and dialog for sure!

I just can't figure out WHY 13 is a magical number in this house. They both love going to movies in the theatre, and surely the sound is rocking there.

It's not just me, or my equally "mature" wife's ears: The early 30-something nieces feel the same issue. It really comes down to the fact I don't have HBO at home, or I would do my catch-up watching at home, on high volume.

I almost bought one of those "as seen n TV" hearing aids for $20 last Friday, just to wear there.

All along, it's been as much about family, and Sunday afternoon dinner, so I just pass out on the couch a lot. . .

Loved his character and he had the mountain beaten, but got too cocky standing over him trying to get him to confess.

I've purchased every season on Blu Ray when they come out and then just watch the whole season in a week or so. I cannot stand the waiting etc. during a season run, and if I come across a few spoilers before watching it's not a big deal.

I'm hoping Littlefinger didn't actually die, but I haven't been reading any spoiler forums etc. to know if he's been spotted filming etc. There are some extremely interesting fan theories with some pretty believable reasons why he's actually still alive!

The biggest bummer for me last season was the death of the red priest, but I'm sure a lot of our favorites are losing the game this season!

Other than that, the big thing I'm looking forward to in the final season is hopefully CLEGANBOWL 2019! Maybe the Hound and Arya will team up to take on the Mountain, with Arya finally removing the Hound from her list.

Random theory of the day: Winterfell is overrun by white walkers and the Night King. The Night King uses his powers to raise the dead from the crypts of Winterfell. That's right, undead Ned, Katlyn, etc. battling Arya, Jon, and crew.

Unfortunately, from what I'm reading on various sites, they're will be "multiple deaths" of characters we all enjoy!
I just hope Cersie gets the Horrific and Painful death she deserves!!

I strongly suggest you guys re-watch season 4. It is EPIC!

I actually want Cersei to win.

Considering the witch said Cersei would only have three children however, is her prophecy correct and Cersei will die before giving birth again? Who knows!

Agreed on season 4, I enjoy all the seasons but I think the show came off the rails a bit after season 4.

I've spent the last month re-watching the entire series. Seasons 3 and 4 are amazing but there are special episodes on all of the seasons. I will definitely lament final episode of season 8.

We've been playing "GOT spin the remote" for a week now. Whichever episode and season we randomly land on - that's what we watch. It's been getting us in the mood and refreshing our memories on the finer details.

We landed on "The Battle of the Bastards" and I'd forgotten how incredibly spectacular that episode was.

It's a great way to insure that you watch "forgotten" episodes instead of just the ones you know that you really liked. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Battle of the Bastards though.

I did not have my dedicated Home Theater when season 7 aired. But now I will watch EVERY episode of 8 in there and I will have it cranked up just like at the Movies!
