alright in a few more days I'll be able to start offloading cars.

The people who actually need them *for a race* will be given first dibs. If there's a race you need to beat, and a car you'd like for it, just let me know

for the immediate timeframe the X2010, minolta and FGT are offlimits, I'll be opening it up to people soon enough.

I just got the minolta last night, and my god that thing is a beast. I dont blame you for not wanting to give it up. Mine is pushing 1029hp right now. Nothing can even come close to it. Racing Like the Wind events are so easy now. I had a little trouble with Indy in the ZR1. I had to do some tweaks to the suspension and trans to get it to hold the pack off.

I have yet to drive the Skyline Carbon R34 I won. Cool lookin car.

I need something to get me through "like the wind" on a spec so I can win the other car to do b spec with.

I can actually give that to you pretty much now actually.
I have 2 nascars though, one chevy nascar that I won from a level ticket and did an oil change (so doesn't qualify). You'll have to burn some miles to lower the hp on this one....
or I can give you the nascar I used to win that one, with the required HP (and all other races). This one was a toyota, and its the one I got from the nascar special event.

You need 2 cars to win both of these.
1. Bugatti Veyron, I can give you one of these in a couple days
2. Mazda Furai, I can give you one but I kiiinda wanna keep mine until I can find a used a replacement. It's a REAL easy win, B spec mazda race

Thanks. I have a furai - its not fast enough on Indy though. Do I use that for the other race?

yep, furai for the 'twisty' race, veyron for the more straight race (99% certain it's the indy)

have you unlocked the veyron, or would you need one?

I used the modded Cadillac Cien on Indy... different strokes. I got frustrated with the Veyron's handling but I guess it's possible.

You cant buy one unless one pops up in the used section. I think you need to be level 23 to buy it, im not sure otherwise you win it by completing the GT world championship race in the professional section. Remeber to drive the ZR1 for a few races before entering Like the wind. After doing the oil change the HP will increase to around 900 after some driving. You need to set the trans to 242mph and zero out the camber and toe, and take some down force out so it can get up to speed faster in the straights. It took me about 3 trys and I got 1st. Bbe aggressive with blocking the other cars from passing as well. The zr1 made it an easy win at Daytona.

I took first after 2 laps. I did not even put any camber or toe back in, and left the downforce alone. You have to be super aggressive with your braking points though. and their a 2 spots that you can simple create your own path through in order to get passed the cars and get a good lead. This point is the 2 chicanes before going back onto the oval before the finish line and right after the first big oval turn when you start the race.

Those 2 chicanes, I took at over 130mph by simple running through the grass area. Beat it with the ZR1, it is more rewarding feeling I think. then you get the minolta. Upgrade that sucker and nothing can touch you. I used it for a few races around Indy to get some cash and points and I was able to lap one of the other cars.

Has anyone tried to use the minolta on the Ring? I raced it and the best time I cut was a 6:14. I screwed up the last corner before the big straight then the last two befor the finish so I know getting under 6min is possible.

I dont' think you unlock the cien that early....do you?
I know the indy race that you used the modded cien and I think it's a different race (it's the same one I used)

Hey I accidently deleted you from my friends list last night. I was messing around with the settings and the system was lagging out when I was trying to figure out how to get my headset to work and started mashing buttons, and then you were gone.lol I found out later that my Turtle beaches wont work with PS3. I have to go buy another pair now.

Or you could be a douche like me and save up for a FGT and use it for Like the Wind, All Stars, and whatever else you need it for - if any of my friends need it I have the Minolta I can loan out for those two.

I thought I did. I passed a large group of cars on that last curve before the finish and I was all happy. I looked up at my position and it said 2/12 and I said WTF?! The Skyline was 19 seconds ahead of me



However, check out the new Seasonal Events that just dropped a few minutes ago. If you have a Citroen C4 WRC car and some soft racing tires, its an easy 1.5mil and 120,000xp

But that means I'd have to to the Loeb challenge.... I'd rather miss out on some cash than do that lol
