There were a few mentions of wall organization, I highly recommend fast-trak or something similar, it's been awesome. There's a few members here with similar systems shown.

I second some of the other comments about addressing the floors. I got mine done, it's an epoxy (about 1/8") thick. This company is commercial, but does residential. They have done Mile High Stadium, and Coors Field here in Denver for instance. Wet clean-ups are sooo much easier, and there's no stains (my wife's car had a pinched oil filter gasket). When the floors are dry, believe it or not I vacuum it!
Following pictures were to showcase parts of the car, but you get a great sense of the flooring. |

relocated the yard tools. Made sense to put them on the right side. I park on the right so I don't open my door into it. Now we don't have to worry about tools falling.

BUT, if you back in on the right side (like you're SUPPOSED TO - smh), you open to the tools

During a <insert your favorite catastrophic event> you want to get out FAST, and going forward.
From a driving safety standpoint, do you want to be in full view of the street, THEN back into your relatively controlled space of a driveway. OR, would you rather back out of driveway into the uncontrolled space of the road? I back in everywhere I reasonably can for the second issue. Not AS worried about zombies |

From a safety standpoint I try to face forward when parking...I just look at it as parking tactically. Maybe I'll change the way I park...won't have to worry about opening the door into the Mazda everytime. |

Well worth it in my mind. Do you like the BP800? I keep looking and am tending towards a Stratus 10,000 mostly because I need to lift farm equipment but don't want to spend more than $2000. In the past I had access to one and don't now. I don't know how I ever lived with out one.

My garage is very disorganized right now. It has the potential to look great but, now, it doesn't. I'll post pics when I get it in shape, again.
I bought the Gladiator cabinets, shelving and the hook system. They're owned by Whirlpool. Through my company, I get a discount on Whirlpool. They were decent and the discount was decent enough to make them very reasonable. But... They... and the shelving all showed up at trucking distribution center BEAT TO CRAP. I went to pick them up... nope. I cancelled the order. Figured I'd figure out another plan. Several days later... saw the same cabinets and shelves for far less on sears.com. Before I could put my order in, sold out. I watched for a couple of months; they popped up several times. Each time... missed again. Finally... after the 2nd or 3rd try... I managed to snag them. It's the cabinets, for example, that are $250 or so... Sears had them for like... $80. The shelves were a similar discount and, shipped to the house. They arrived perfectly fine. I'm not sure if Sears, being in the shape they're in are still doing the same deal but... Probably worth watching. |

I bought the New Age stuff from Home Depot on a sale, and have been very pleased with it. I got a set like this in red for around $1050 (on sale).
