That Sig is beautiful. I'm thinking of picking up a P320 myself.

I didn’t get to hold a C2, they only had the P with threaded barrel. I’ll shop around and hopefully shoot some before completing the build. They are only about 1.5-2 hours from me so maybe I’ll pay them a visit.

that P320 looks nice - I've been thinking about one in .45 (unless I misread the website, that's possible)

Yes, the P320 is offered in a .45 ACP, but only in Full and Compact size.

I’ve been shopping for a new shotgun, and a local gun shop of mine makes a custom SBS. I’m on the fence at buying a SBS or a Benelli M4 LE 7-RD 18.5" w/Collapsible Stock.

I already have several AR-15 12-gauge and a Benelli M2.

Do you have a SBS, if so would you recommend it?

I would love to personally own an SBS. My personal shotgun is a modified Remington 870 patrol, but my duty shotgun is an SBS version of the 870. I love it, although we rarely deploy shotguns these days. The SBS makes clearing locations so much easier.

To add to the above comment….

….we don't deploy shotguns much these days because our AR-15 ammo is made softer as to not penetrate as many walls within a structure. We can use the AR-15 more effectively. Our duty AR's are also SBR's, but not as small as AR pistols.

That is exactly what this is, a modified 870. I’m at the gun shop now, shopping for some more scary WMDs, the other thread prompted me to exercise my rights.
Here is a SBS that I’m considering, either this color of Bazooka Green or a tungsten.

Then again, I'm black…..and I'm kind of badass and scary (…at least the criminals think so), so maybe they're onto something.

That was my first choice as well, and most likely the one I choose. Either the M4 LE model or this SBS. Or both I guess.

Ahem...these are shotguns...not rifles. Going to have to put a warning on your record for this. Any more of these faux pas and We The People will be hole punching your second amendment right...

There are rifles on that wall, which is what I was referring to. I was happy to see rifles that aren't neutered.

Not at all, they were really pushing that SCAR with discounts, free ammo, and discounts on accessories. Had to pass at the moment, I have some shotguns to buy damnit! The SCAR is super SCARy though.

Kalashnikov, Komrad.

https://kalashnikov-usa.com/firearms/komrad/

This is all I can add to your SBS conversation. Bought one, took it out, and shot it. Cheshire Cat smile later, walking into the house, told my wife that should be illegal. Bought a second one.

“The Kalashnikov USA™ Komrad™ is a non-NFA item…”

That is a bonus, saves some money and time, this one can be taken home within minutes. Love it

I’m not a fan of a pistol brace, can that be swapped for standard collapsible stock?

Thanks for the suggestion, I’m always looking for more options.

I’ve long considered buying a UTS-15, but haven’t bought one yet as I prefer semi-auto over a pump. https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/utas/

No, if you put a stock on it, it would become illegal. It walks a very fine line of being a shotgun pistol. Some of the advantages are the front end coming with rails. It is easy to mount lights and/or optics. The magazines are not too pricey. I know I have several 20 round drums and I think they make 25 and even a 30 round drum but those would be so heavy I have never looked for them. The downside is if I leave it loaded with a magazine against the bolt the top round in the mag will come out of round after a while. It is not my bump in the night gun though so that doesn't bother me. The quality level is a lot like an AK. It isn't a pretty gun, but it really delivers where it counts.

When I first got it here on the farm, I mounted some plywood on some fence posts and then some targets. As we were shooting the plywood was so shredded it was falling over.
