I love the grunge stuff. I can’t believe I guessed it. I was just throwing it out there.

You probably would've had fun growing up there in that era then, I know I did. It was pretty amazing. It was a different place/culture in those days. It's unfortunate that it's getting a bad rap nowadays.

Still waiting for another clue from the other guy. He seems less willing to provide hints though. Lol.

I still listen to all of those bands. In fact, I listen to the likes of Tool, Audioslave, Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots, Hum, etc. daily.

Naw! It's okay. It wasn't something I would have been reticent about revealing if somebody guessed it.

That's my other favorite genre. Phantogram, much of Deadmau5's or Harris' stuff, etc.

Cornell’s voice gives me goose bumps. I love the Foo Fighters but Cornell was in a league of his own.

Agreed. Did you ever watch the movie "Singles" back in the 90s? That was a perfect slice of life in Seattle in those days. Some of the scenes were places I went to regularly, including spots I'd drive by on the way to work near where I lived.

That soundtrack was good (1992). Cornell had a cameo in that movie. Of course Pearl Jam members made up Matt Dillon's rock band in that movie which was hilarious. They were called "Citizen Dick".

By the way, you guys forgot to mention Alice in Chains.
Not sure if you're familiar with lesser bands from that area in those days including The Screaming Trees, Candlebox and Mudhoney.

No. No. No. Not enough booze in the world for me to do Karaoke. I would clear the bar in two notes. Did I ever tell you guys about the time I got caught at a red light singing Let’s Get It On? Complete with the Eeee, Ooh Aaah? It was a beautiful March day. Windows wide open. Stopped at a light. I’m singing my heart out, completely forgot windows were open. I look over and the guy next to me has his mouth hanging open watching me. As crude as it sounds, I think he came in his pants. I was mortified. Thank God I had more horsepower than he did. Light changed and I was gone.

"I nearly lost you" is one of my favorite Screaming Trees songs. I love Alice too. "Would" is one of my favorite track/canyon cuts.
