One day max and Lewis had a race. Both really wanted to win. Max and Lewis touched helmets - no sorry I mean wheels. Max crashed. Lewis got told off but still won the race. Max cried, and his dad, Horner and Helmut threatened to beat Lewis up. Lewis didn't say sorry but said his dad was harder than Max's. This made max cry even more. Wollf told Max, Horner and Helmut to stop being babies or he would send his mrs over to bitch slap them all. This sent the Internet in to melt down with everyone crying and threatening to get their dad to beat everyone up cos he was harder than everyone else's dad.

Double yellow flags mean that there are human beings not in highly protective race cars in an area of danger. This is why the penalty is higher.

Some cases there's personnel, it's also for a fellow competitor in a highly protective race car.

Similarly with a collision, 2 points are awarded for bumping a competitor or causing them to DNF. Not exactly the same in my book and given varying time penalties.

Less critical incidents are bit silly to get a point for…Gasly being out of his grid place. He received both time and a point penalty.

I really don’t want this precedent introduced and it looks like I will not be getting what I want. We cannot have everyone in f1 suing each time something doesn’t go swimmingly or we just won’t have races any longer. Period.

What legal action would actually stand in court? Going for repairs on their car since it comes out of their shrunken budget?

As mentioned, it would be a ridiculous precedent to set and kill the sport.

Is it? There's also personal injury to consider as well as well as a written off car..that's why RB are consulting their legal experts.

This isn't a scrape in the parking lot. These guys are at the top of their field. Driver's know the risks and most get paid very handsomely for the privilege to compete. For a team to do this is not in the spirit of the sport.

This is more serious than you think, the way MV was punted off is not exactly in the spirit of the sport also with the many experts saying that LH should have backed off at that dangerous part of the track which is Copse.

It would be unbelievably idiotic and shortsighted of them to sue them criminally or civil, (US law, unsure what it would be there). They'd be opening themselves up to past and future lawsuits by their own precedent.

I'm with MK and others who say this would go nowhere except make RB look desperate and foolish. It would definitely not make them any friends with other teams.

It's less complicated than that. It's so easy for armchair quarterbacks to dissect a situation from a dozen angles after the fact but none of us including the "experts" were in their heads at the exact moment.

The team bosses are beating their chest out of the adrenaline boost and really need to take it down a peg. They should be regrouping on how to continue the fight at the next race.

Sticking your head in the sand to justify supporting the most toxic team with the most entitled and overrated driver in the history of the sport is really sad.

There have been announcements by GLOBAL ORGANIZATIONS about this problem since Sunday. It started right after the collision.

Take your RBR blinders off and look at who you support. They are toxic in the extreme.
