Wife is out with her work folks. Daughter and son decided to head out with friends. Said F it, and bought two of my favorites.
Steamed kohlrobi in a parsley cheese sauce...and a 24 day aged, 18oz Delmonico on the charcoal Weber. |

Had same problem first time I did ribs with 3 -2-1 think times are too long unwrapped initially. Did you mop the ribs often during initial 3 hours as well as before wrapping?

Any of you have a natural gas setup coming from your house to your grill?
I'm building a new house and this is something I'm including that I currently don't have. If so, have you encountered any issues with it grill: Setup, connections, usage? |

Outside of that, it's just a matter of remembering you are using natural gas when you go to get new burners, and they seem relatively easy to find. |

Whats the advantage of connect to your gas line???
I mean propane is cheap, no maintanence, & I would say its safer than connecting to your gas...imo

Natural gas is actually cheaper than propane. But that's not my concern. I like the fact that I won't run out or have to guess how much is remaining. And having to deal with returning and replacing tanks.

Or you have guests over and grilling hamburgers & hotdogs. Your guest are swallowing down the chips n dips. You start up grille and few hamburgers are done and flame goes out lol. Now you gotta race to Home Depot pick up or refill tank. when you get home your guests are now zombies |

^ I'd prefer to have a permanent line but always keep a spare tank full of propane on the patio to avoid scenarios like these.

Say what you will.... As an avid griller, this is going to be very convenient, period. Not having to jack with tanks any further.

I know you guys are gonna say I sold out...but the Weber Bullet was seeing better days. I've had this guy for 11 years now...she was good.
But, like everything, priorities hit and wanted to try a more 'set it and forget it' mode. Starting a couple pork butts at 5:00pm, adding water at midnight, coals at 3:00, water again at 6:00AM - starts to draw on you. So...that being, wife just bought me this bitch. New to me, obviously. Never even cooked with gas damnit, charcoal and wood only. But I know there's at least better pellets out there than your standard Traegar ones. Going with these first. Picked up this bad boy to smoke and grill in the elements too. No worries - not going cold turkey here. While I'll be keeping the WVB, my Weber Performer and 1991 Weber Kettle will remain on staff for day to day use.
