Wasn't sure where to post this. I started in the "What song are you listening to" thread, then went to "Confess Here". I think it belongs here....
Somebody make it stop! Since I woke up this morning, Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'round the Old Oak Tree has been playing in my brain non stop. I don't know why. I haven't heard that song in years and years. Shoot me, please.

Ignition points. I've installed many of them while doing tune ups on cars before electronic ignition. The boss where I worked as a teenager called plug, points, and condersers by the term "zappers, gappers, and a sponge" but I never did fully understand why. Maybe the condenser acts as an electronic sponge. |
