It was 28-29C (~84F) yesterday. It's very dry and dusty here, hasn't rained in a couple weeks. We're looking forward to another week without rain in the mid 20s, slowly cooling.

Went for a little road trip to a bike park yesterday. There was some live band playing in the park and they mentioned it was the last Sunday of the summer...

Our overnight low was a comfortable 49 F last night, and the week's forecast is for daytime high temps to be slowly dropping through the 70's F as the week progresses. We may get rain from down south on Wednesday.

The southern rain will be coming from another surprise tropical storm that will be popping up off of Myrtle Beach, SC and moving inland. No threat to our SC tree farm, although today's high will only be 71 F with rain and a lake wind advisory.....

Today's 75 F high will be the last time that we're in the 70's through next weekend, per the 7-day forecast. All highs in the 60's F, with lows in the 50's F that will likely prove out to be upper 40's F based on the past week of lows being 5+ F lower than forecast.....

Even though it’s hundreds of miles away, the outer bands of Helene have started to arrive for 3 days of periodic rain. Hope everyone on west coast and panhandle of FL (as well as Southern GA) are ready and stay safe.
