I ain't complainin'. A friend in MA was saying that this time last year he had 130" of snow piled alongside his driveway. None so far this year (except an inch or two in that freak October storm). I could deal with a mild winter. Go Global Warming!!

yeah, nice shot Kyle. The exposure on the right could be improved. A simple way to fix this without using filters, etc is by shooting HDR.

And nice shot Kyle. you definitely found the sweet spot on the building.


As for everyone chatting about weather... I`m stuck here in snow, however, it's like 38 degrees, and if i drive 10 minutes from where i am, there is no snow

Thanks Ashu. Never did HDR yet, I don't think I can do that stuff in LR3 (correct me if I'm wrong). But that's the only software I have.

I'll go back and tweak the image some more, but I figured it was a good shot to try out my new CPL, it did the trick but I see what you're saying

haha, at least non of is get it like Buffalo and Rochester

I'm off to my Moms today, which is right on the waters edge, so should be nice and clear. Most of the weird weather seems to go inland about 6-8 miles before it dumps, so she gets nice sunny days.

Tomorrow we are supposed to have about 8" of snow in some areas, is that headed towards you guys too?

Yep, we're expected to get at least 8" by tomorrow, they said some areas should see more.

well when its 30-40 deg every day my feelings are I need something to do so freeze up some ice for me to skate on/play hockey and some snow for me to snowboard on.

neither as of yet so I'm bored out of my mind.

Thanks weather wasn't too cold but traffic getting there was terrible. The staties kept closing streets causing more traffic. I just double parked by the side of the road when the fireworks started and ran out to setup my tripod.
