I don't get the opinionated view of HAM wanting more stewards to be female (one male, one female).
I mean I'm all for more women in motorsports, but for a stewards' position, I want the most capable ones, whether they are men or women.. And there are just way more men in motorsports than women. And I think it's not that women get discriminated, looking at how popular some can be in motorsports (like the late Sabine Schmitz for example) A steward just needs to be both very experienced in motorsports, preferably at that track and if possible that type of motorsports and very experienced in FIA rules. I think it's just not a very well thought through statement. Just as accusing some Stewards to not be impartial. I think if you want to make such a statement, it's better done at specific decisions than at persons as that is very suggestive.

As concerns porpoising which I mentioned yesterday it's affecting HAM's car today and he's slow around the corners but AM is the worst banging and sparking all around the track.
Alfa is having problems with their floor amongst other things and Alpine (Renault) can't even use their drs with an unstable car. |

Rb18 seems to have a gear box issue, it's trucked back to the pits.

How is that even possible that they ran it that low on fuel? It's also concerning then if they were doing low fuel runs and still at the back of the pack. But man that Ferrari is fast and consistent.

If you watch the videos on F1TV that show highlights of testing the cars look really slow through that last chicane. Of course they could be taking it easy but they look lethargic through that section. From what I have found they are 2-2.5 seconds slower than the last test session here.

No idea but whatever it is they should have time to rectify the fault before the afternoon session and...BOT is out in the Alfa for a few minutes before this session stops for lunch.

Merc and a few other teams having issues with the aero effects and suspension drop resulting in the bounce. I'm sure all teams are struggling with it in some form or another. But again it shows how critical front wing height is. We will see how they tune that wing and suspension to fix the issue.

I'm starting to see why they had a private test session. Teams are starting to see the bugs.

Max and Seb are calling for the Russian GP to be scrapped. Seb is understandable but Max is usually a "just let me drive" type of guy so it's awesome to hear this.
Wonder where virtue signaling Lewis is? Probably taking selfies with his bulldog for instagram like a teenage girl. |

I support Vettel in this. I think the FIA should reschedule the russian GP to another country.
For similar reasons I also didn't watch the winter olympics in China. (I don't boycot buying stuff from china (you buy them from a chinese citizen or company, not from the state), but I do boycot chinese government related stuff.)
