We’re at a loss for words when it comes to our 992 Turbo S Cabriolet. Released in late 2019, the HRE 527S has gained more & more popularity as of late after the initial run of orders have finally begun to make in onto some epic 911’s builds.

The stunning 5-spoke wheel was initially only available in a 3-piece configuration but last month HRE re-released it as a 2-piece wheel with their new FMR Barrel. “FMR” stands for Forged Monoblock Rim and it is new proprietary technology for HRE. The barrel of the wheel is now a single piece of forged aluminum just like the center face of a multi-piece wheel is. This produces a more lightweight and durable barrel than traditional 3-piece wheels. Gone are the days of multi-piece wheels that leak air through their silicone after years of deterioration.

Below is a stunning 992 Carrera S sporting these updated 2-piece 527S’ from HRE Performance Wheels. Available in all sorts of diameters, widths, offsets, & colors, this classic design would look perfect on any generation 911. We look forward to seeing what sort of unique combinations Porsche owners will come up with in the future for this wheel.

Some might mix up this 911’s color for chalk but upon closer inspection you will notice that it is a lovely PTS Fashion Gray. Accompanied by gloss black aero & yellow accents throughout, the car is capped off with the incredible ANRKY AN12 lightweight wheels. Brushed Gloss Clear was the chosen wheel finish and the “ANRKY” script engraved into the forged aluminum wheel was hand painted in yellow to match the brake calipers and “S” in Turbo S. After years of modifying 991’s we must say that this one is one of the cleanest ones we’ve ever completed.

I must admit, the Targa version of the 911 has been my favorite body style for a while now so when I heard that we had a 992 gen coming in I was immediately intrigued. I didn’t know what wheel setup was being installed but I hoped it was something unique and fresh – I was not let down.

Below are the jaw-dropping results: S3-X1’s from ANRYY’s exotic high performance X series. With these custom forged wheels any size could have been chosen but the client went with an upsized 21”//22” setup and stunning two-tone finish that incorporated brushed silver and brushed gold colors together.

This week we completed another TechArt-equipped 911 Turbo. In 2022 alone we have done a couple dozen of them and next year we will be building our first GT Street R kit. That kit is a special edition on from TechArt limited to 87 worldwide.

This particular kit comes with a completely new front bumper, side skirts, carbon side air intake, rear diffuser section, and carbon fiber wing blade. All of which can be painted in your desired combination. Some of our clients incorporate more body color on the pieces while others (like this one) like to have black accent.

The car was lowered on H&R Springs which do a great job of maintain most of the factory ride comfort while giving the car the perfect stance when paired with the larger and wider ANRKY wheels. The ANRKY wheels are sizes at 21”x9.5” and 22”x12.5” as this customer wanted to upsize from the factory wheel sizes. These 1-piece wheels are also available in the factory wheel sizing.

We also added a full IPE exhaust to shed weight from the factory system and allow the engine to breath more freely. This easier airflow provides the car with the extra sound that the client wanted as well as a minor bump in power. The DME stage 2 tune made sure that no check engine lights would pop up and re-mapped the ECU so that power gains in the triple digits were possible.
