I paid nothing on my 2021 Porsche Macan GTS for the rear camera, but I confess I paid $4,650 extra for deviating stitching in the interior. And you are correct: they have to stitch it anyway.

Jaguar beauty is not restricted to car with two doors. Here's a survivor in Japan that must be much-loved.

1958 Ferrari 250GT Tour de France Berlinetta. 78 built
Priced new at about $12,000 in 1958. (Oh, for a time machine!)

The 250GT TdF was succeeded by the 250GT SWB Berlinetta, built from 1960 to 1963; 168 built.
Priced at about $12,600 or $13,600 (sources vary) in the early 1960s. Price two years ago, $10 million -- given the competition among the ultra-wealthy for toys, I wouldn't be surprised if it's up to $15 million now.

All these 250GTs of the 1950-60s are now worth millions.
The open version of the Berlinettas was the California spider, built in much smaller numbers than the coupes. There were both long wheelbase (2600mm) models corresponding to the TdF (50 built) and short wheelbase (2400mm) models corresponding to the SWB (56 built). The LWB models had drum brakes, while the SWB versions adopted discs. Other than the competition-oriented 250GTO, the California SWB spider is probably the most valuable Ferrari of all. We are talking lottery money here, or maybe two lotteries. Note that any of our BMWs would blow the doors off these cars today but that's not the point, is it? Such beauty! The SWB model was priced at about $16,000 in the early 1960s.

If I did win the lottery, or perhaps won the lottery twice, I might be tempted to pass up the really rare 250GT models and try to find a 250GT Cabriolet. Fewer sporting pretensions but still beautiful. I would think one would still need to budget a million or more, though. The Cabrio was in production from 1957 to 1962 and I think about 200 were built. It had to make do with 200 horsepower instead of the 240 to 260 of the more sporting models above. Still the 250GT Cabriolet is an elegant artifact of an earlier age. It would look great parked in my living room!

And just to finish out the 250GT story, there was the plain old 250GT Pinin Farina Coupe, which shared the 200 hp of the Cabrio in a closed car and was likely the least expensive of the choices at the time. 359 of these were built, making them a bit less rare than the others.
This one is very pretty but has an unusual two-tone paint job with a silver roof.

I guess I've painted myself into somewhat of a corner here with Ferrari red paint, so I might as well finish the story of the 250GT.
In 1959 Ferrari released a 2+2 model, the 250GTE. Sales were (relatively) good and before production ceased in 1963, 955 had been produced. The car was still elegantly styled by Pinin Farnia. The price new was about $12,600 in the U.S. Finally, in 1962 a final 250GT was released. The 250GT Lusso was built until 1964 and 351 were produced. Ferrari sales were gradually creeping up. The 250s with their 3-liter V-12s were suceeded by 275s (3.3 liters) and 330s (4 liters) but that's another story.
