G42/87 don't have the more contemporary kink found on the 4er/8er.

That’s great news.The earlier leaked pic of the G42 looked like the design has the traditional hofmeister kink.

Agree about the seating position and roof line. Maybe just maybe the driver seat will point exactly at the 12 o'clock position on the new ones. I feel the rear end was kind of a 2 series weak spot but I'm not sure the tail lights we've seen in these pics is an improvement.
