Interesting thread... Dad started me out early, he owned the following:
-1984 BMW 325e (my first memory in a car at the age of ~18 months) -1993 BMW 325is -1997 BMW 540i -2005 BMW 545i -2011 BMW 535i xdrive as for me, it took me around 8 years to find the brand, but I'm hooked... -1998 Honda Civic EX -2001 Audi TT 225 Coupe -2001 Audi TT 225 Roadster -2010 VW GTI -2002 BMW M roadster -2000 BMW M Coupe -1987 BMW 325i (currently own) I bought the M Roadster back in '10 to replace the GTI, but since then I've owned two cars at once, only recently have I discovered that BMWs are the only cars that really do it for me.. I've tried, and failed, to find a substitute (sorry Porsche, I'm stealing your marketing). -1994 Audi 100 CS quattro -1992 Audi S4 (RS2'd) -1999.5 Audi A4 1.8TQMS -2007 Audi A3 3.2Q -2006 MINI Cooper S JCW I recently sold the M Coupe to get something that will take my beloved E30 from daily driver duties. I'm shopping for a well-sorted E90 (335i), E92 (335is) or E82 (135is) that will serve as daily/autocross/HPDE until I'm ready for an F80 M3 someday...

What's a Wankel Again?
Ok this is my primary car list where these have been my daily drivers or at least owned them two or more years. At a certain point I had 2+ cars roughly when I purchased the 850, as I am not listing the winter cars such as 86 Wagoneer and 97 Blazer and 14 X1...etc..
73 Mazda Rx3 - (Wankel) 119CU 99Hp (NO Redline) (Manual) 75 Chevy Monza - V8 (Actually designed for Wankel) 69 Buick LaSabre - V8 - 350CU 230 hp 83 Buick Skylark - V6 (ugg...don't tell anyone plz) 89 Firebird Formula - 305 (5.0) V8 225 hp (Manual) 93 BMW 850 CI - 5.0 V12 296 hp 02 Audi A4 - 1.8T 180hp (Manual) 07 Dodge Charger R/T AWD - 5.5 V8 350 hp 07 BMW M6 - 5.0 V10 500 hp (Manual) 12 Dodge Caravan R/T - 3.6 V6 283 hp (Ferrari of Mini-Vans) Yes my first BMW was an 850CI with a manual; for I love cars...all types. What you may glean about my car history is that I have owned almost owned every type of engine configuration from the rotary to 4Cylinder, V6, V8, V10 and V12. What blows me away is that my current X1, the step-daughter drives that one for the most part, has 240 horsepower which eclipses if not comes close to the performance most of cars I have owned.
