Heavy fog at the moment but very still. Another system will bring heavy rain again. Good for the wells, the farmers and preventing forest fires.

About 70F here now around sunset, with the low forecast to be 50F overnight. Just shut the central AC off and opened the windows to enjoy the cool, tree pollen-filled air.....

A (predictable) jolting return to reality for me: After six days on the island of Kauai in Hawaii (a bit or rain but upper 60s at night and mid/upper 70s in the day), I return to Oregon and last night's low was 41F. I have not yet seen the forecast, but it ain't Hawaii...

Another day in paradise.

Saturday night we had about 20 people in the house, and my son was baking sourdough. Turned on the A/C for about 2 hours, just to make sure it still works.
