Yesterday's temps reached upper 90's. Today we're expecting lots of sunshine and mid-90's. This weekend we should see more sunshine and temps ranging from 93-96*. Will take an entire rain free weekend, even if it comes with higher humidity.

Oregon's getting a brief "heat dome" effect with high today about 90F, followed by forecast moderation. I think it will feel good to have a taste of hot weather.

The AC in my car is permanently broken, with the cost of repair exceeding the car's value. (Gotta love BMW!) Anyway, you can take it to the bank that we will be suffering from insane heat here in the northeast forever because of this.....

Time for some 4 x 60 air conditioning.
I always prefer the windows down but will use AC the odd time... my 2 series is great for non-buffeting wind noise with the huge windows. Looks like this weekend will be a bit disappointing with rain and cooler temps. |

More like 2 x 55 AC, because NY State stupid speed limits and BMW's 56 MPH speed limitor when the AC isn't working.
I fear for the polar bears and Santa's elves the most, and will soon be starting a charity to provide them with sunscreen and fans. Oh, I should probably add that its 81 F and mostly sunny here right now.....

Still June Gloom here in SoCal but it's heating up a bit. Summer's coming. Not looking forward to 100+ temps. Thankfully there's the A/C to keep me cool.

Lots of sunshine today with high temps and tolerable humidity. The same is expected tomorrow and into early next week. High mold count is likely due to all the previous storms and rainy conditions. We have a lot of standing water, that will lead to an increase in pesky mosquitoes.

We've hit a living-large stretch with little or no precip, lowish overnight temps, seasonal highs of mid-70s to mid-80s and, best of all, low humidity.
Coastal spring SoCal weather FTW!

It's been fall here since september '23. We had like 2 sunny weekends with temperatures above 25 degrees Celcius. Thats it. Seems like June is on a bad standing with the season we normally consider to call Summer.
Today; about 20-40mm rain again. |

Our overnight lows have been in the upper 40's F since the weekend, windows open, central AC off for several days.
Today is the start of a warming trend, with thunderstorms expected tomorrow afternoon. The long-range forecast is calling for our first heat wave of 2024 in the middle of next week, which is locally defined as three days in a row of 90+ F highs. Did I mention recently that my Bavarian Golf Cart's heat/AC is permanently broken?????

Supposed to be a t-storm here tonight, nothing really on the radar yet so maybe it will miss us. It's sunny and mid 80s today.
Next week starting Monday is looking to be hanging out in the 90s (without humidity). |
