Thoughts on Homeland?
I really enjoyed the first few seasons of Homeland. I kind of lost interest in the last two seasons, but definitely a good show.
Early on it was excellent. The latter seasons weren't on the same level as the first 3/4. It was excellent television when it was at its best.

The spoiler is not just in the video, it's in the title! You should remove it, don't spoil it for someone who has yet to see it.
Also, I loved the soundtrack to season 4 of Ozark. The best era of rap music was on full display. One more aspect to that show that was excellent. I'll miss it.

Is The Peripheral any good? The trailer makes it seem like Westworld and no wonder they are from the same ppl. I haven't even bothered to finish WW yet, so if this is gonna be similar, I dunno.

This was pretty good until the last episode. Then it kinda sucked.

Agree 100% - watched last episode last night and was like "that's it...unsolved?"

Homeland is a winner. There are a couple weird seasons in the middle but still worth a watch. It's on my short list of best of all time series. Claire Danes is brilliant in this series.

Thanks for the feedback. The trailer looks promising.

Any others watching The Peripheral? I think I'll give it a go and report back.

Must say that I'm impressed so far by Let the right one in. I don't remember too much about the movie...it was just alright but I feel this series really fleshed out and added so many new stories/characters for the better.

EDIT: kinda like what Cobra Kai did to the KK franchise. Nice jobs by the ppl involved in both shows.

Murder in Suburbia: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0396997/.

I watch an episode when I just want to zone-out. It's Ash and Scribbins; the rest is blah.

Depends on your personality. I am a meat and potatoes, legs and arse kinda guy. I can't follow The Matrix, i can't follow Inception.......Periphal has a good cast, well acted too, but it's asking too much of me.

For me, Matrix wasn't too hard to follow but forget about Inception and that similar one w the backwards time-travel thing...that's just crazy artsy stuff to me. Westworld started out ok but it lost me in the latter seasons, so I don't think I'm gonna watch The Peripheral since it seems similar.

"City on a Hill" on Showtime. Kevin Bacon playing Jackie Rohr, his mustache, slicked hair, and classy dress makes this a fun one for me. In season 3 he gets his hands on a really sweet car too that us Beemer forum members would appreciate.

Looking forward to season 2 of "Your Honor" with Bryan Cranston as I really enjoyed season 1.

Just re-subscribed to Showtime and forgot how much I enjoy those 2 shows

I just can't buy him as an action hero and it's very Homeland without the nuance.

I thought the first season was ok. Lost me on the second season.

And I agree, I'll always see him as a guy putting staplers in Jell-O, not an action hero.

Watched the premiere of the White Lotus season 2 on Sunday, can't wait to see more, I love the satire and awkward comedy, and as always Jennifer Coolidge is hilarious.
