So far ...No penalty (!) If it had been MAX , he would get the black flag for that .

Jos Verstappen has said : MAX is been terrorized by the British press with questions about his P17 at the startgrid before the race..

He’s simply not that good and after looking quite good, Piastri has looked rather mediocre lately. Lec had no pace and Sai couldn’t even get by Lawson - and people think he’d do much better than Perez is laughable.

Honestly an awesome race. Red Bull stuck with their plan and Max won handily. Pretty sure Norris can’t catch him unless something catastrophic happens.

Well I've said it during the Friday session that the young guns were going hard and flying, nothing changed there and I STILL root for the young guns when they outperform people like Perez, useless Zhou..

My view is Landos' worst enemy is himself...Not Max, not anyone else. Before even figuring out Max, he needs to figure himself out.

The other thing we overlook is that Max did all this without the help of DRS. If DRS were to be eliminated from racing as it should I doubt Lando would even have 1 win. LOL

We saw most drivers encountering mishaps and 'having a moment' in the very daunting, treacherous driving conditions.

Verstappen appeared to fully master his car, kept it out of trouble at all times of the 297 km GP, made no contact with other cars, drove many laps in heavy spray and kept going flat-out, clocking 17 Fastest Laps. High risk - no conservative driving: impeccably brought it home.

Well that race kinda sucked for Ferrari fans. Only took one week for Carlos to go from hero to zero.

Ferrari definitely isn’t a wet weather car!!! Charlie did well to hang onto it for the entire race. Still brought him into pit TOO early. Either #FerrariThings or he couldn’t hold onto it any longer

So I couldn't watch the race live, so I just finished watching the race, meticulously avoiding news etc all day...
What can I say......I'm totally flabbergasted....WOW!!!!!

After the first lap I thought....that's rather unprofessional from the TV director to confuse Max' car and position for Checo's car&position....
But no, Max indeed overtook 7 cars in the first lap!!! Unbelievable. All on track, so not the result of crashes,yellow flags etc.
Some people were not sure what the Max factor was or if it existed. Well....

And how Max overtook OCO at the restart of the 1st safetycar after the red flag....he came from so deep, still finding grip, whereas NOR went off track, probably due to tyres getting a little bit cold, where he also went off track after the red flag, probably also due to cold tyres.

And in the last part of the race....Max setting fastest lap after fastest lap, steadily gaining about 1sec per lap every lap on the rest of the field.
What a masterclass in racing this was!

About Verstappen's Fastest Lap after Fastest Lap performance, he references Senna's crash in the 1988 Monaco GP (Senna was comfortably leading the race but seemed obsessively determined to lap Prost - his team advised him to take it easy, but Senna kept on pushing flat-out - he crashed and Prost won the race).

Verstappen's race today was a fitting tribute to Senna.
