It was 8 degrees this morning at 8 o’clock and I pulled out of the garage but the street was iced over and I needed help pushing it back to the edge of the driveway. I will give it another try tomorrow but I’m not optimistic.

It's 15 F-ing degrees here at Chez Vreihen with 23 MPH wind gusts as I write this.
Down in SC, the overnight low was an even colder 12 F-ing degrees last night. Patiently waiting for the promised late-January thaw.....

The contractor left about an hour ago. We received more than expected. Talii and I just got back from a nice walk in the trails. The trail groomers were out preparing the surface for the snowmobiles. Having a nice bowl of chicken soup.

16 F here right now on it's way to a balmy 24 F today but the rest of the week is supposedly above freezing weather with Friday forecasted to be 52F Nut's for January!

Another rainy January day. Hovering around freezing so yesterday's dumping of snow isn't really melting.
Someone needs to tell the gulf of Mexico to quit sending weather up here. It's getting ridiculous. |
