We had cats for years and I'm okay with them, but I actually have dreams from time to time about cats digging their claws into me. Not scratching me or anything, just holding their claws so If I move I will get hurt. I know, weird. Are you sure they aren't actually doing this while you sleep? Ours will.

But if not, then it is definitely the result of insecure attachment/abandonment issues (likely from improper toilet training, or too much video games in your youth).

I'm sure since we do not have a cat anymore. If it's a real cat, then I have a new thing to worry about.
