Alright, if you like Lubbock. Tech and Southplains are back in session so it’s busy again. Always pleasant when the Univision out of session. Electricity just got switched to ERCOT so we’re all about to get boned cost wise. This weekend we’ll see how the grid is going to holdup since the entire state is gonna be a cold MF.

Well they were off by 24 hrs... Apparently I should wake-up with 6" of snow, we'll see. Should be here in the next 2 hours.

Not as much as Ottawa folks but it makes for a nice picture. The city tractor just came by this morning so I can actually move cars around now.
I needed the exercise but it was heavy wet snow to shovel. It's getting the snow blower next time. |

What is this “snow” and “winter” y’all keep blabbing on about?
Frost when we left at 8 this morning to get to the spa for 9:00 massage. Deep tissue for an hour, complimentary tasting of wine at the South Coast winery in Temecula Some of you need to move!

Steelers/Bills game scheduled for tomorrow in Buffalo got pushed back to Monday. Looks like it's going to get nasty up there.
Light coating of snow here, but heading into 3 days of single digit daytime highs and sub-zero lows. Still, it's only 3 days and much of the country is seeing worse. We had crazy high winds last night. I was afraid we'd lose power, but we didn't. The power companies here have done a pretty good job of cutting the trees back away from the power lines. It's paying off.

Low of 22F last night and a dusting of snow. Since then, the temp went up to 24 degrees and we have had light freezing rain all day. I've been out twice to look after and feed my dog and llamas. Now it is down to 21 degrees. I guess so far so good, but the real stuff is supposed to be this evening and overnight. We're prepared for power outage and will be happy if we don't get it.

Geez, I was feeling all sorry for myself due to the extremely cold temperature -- 16 degrees -- but I guess I should shut up!

A big nothing burger for our area. Most the snow went up north. It snowed hard for about ten minutes, then rain with the T° going up. Roads were clear this morning but white with a copious amount of salt.
