I would recommend you to use some cloth color to black out the reflective letters caused by really harming the leather when trying to remove them. As the glue under them is build to last lots of years, you would surely made some scratches or surface damage to the jacket.

Another good suggestion, thank you! The letters have already begun flaking off in spots and in one corner I was easily able to pick off more using my finger nail. Might take a while but I think I can get them off with minimal damage as long as a i take my time and am careful!

Local business who wants to remain anonymous... But if you go on Craigslist, that's what determined the pricing for them to purchase my laptop... I also snagged my '16 MBP for $2400 on CL, hehehe... Still sealed and MSRP is $2799, plus it's upgraded something or other I can't remember... And Slate Gray, which is a nice departure from almost a decade of that silver aluminum finish...

But if you have an older laptop you need to sell, CL isn't that bad of a place...

Mr Tonka....shoei is also on a different part of CL too, and my understanding is the price he got for the MBP was inclusive of 'favours'. So unless you are likewise inclined, wouldn't use his pricing as a reasonable expectation of what you can get
