Are people actually dumber or have the arts of common sense & conversation just gone by the wayside?

I swear, most women I talk to on these sites/apps are boring as hell with no personality and/or can't have even a basic conversation to save their lives.

For example, it's like pulling teeth asking what they do for work or what their hobbies & passions are.

Then we have the boring clowns that tell me they have no hobbies or passions and their big job at age 40 is being a cashier. WTF?!

Sadly, to these women having a vergina is all they need. (in their mind and the minds of the gentlemen who "entertain" these ladies) Apparently just showing up is all it takes in their minds. It's your/our jobs to make everything else happen because they showed up with their lady parts. I avoid these ladies like ebola. At some point, they will find a man who thinks just like they do and they will both live a moderately boring life together. Most likely, they will not find a man all while making social media posts about "real men" don't exist anymore.

You want to have some fun? The next time you hear their big job is being a cashier, ask them what change you get if you give her $10.02 for a $8.27 purchase. No calculator allowed. I guarantee you will see a doe in headlights. It boggles my brain how no one can make change unless they key it into the register.

The struggle is real. It has happened to me many times at Starbucks, local grocery stores. I'll hand over the bill(s), the cashier enters the bill amount in and then they freeze when I give them some change too. Even something as simple as me giving them a quarter for something that was say $11.25.

I was a retail manager for years. Day one of training consisted of teaching my employees how to count change back to people. I used to fuss at them for using the point of sale system to count change. Not making excuses for the individuals who are guilty here, but aside from lack of motivation/drive, the commonality of everyone using debit cards these days, I feel, has attributed to this lazy mindset. Much how like CD's created the issue of no one knowing what the title of a song was but everyone knew what track number it was on the CD and much like how no one knows anyone else's phone number anymore because it's stored in our cell phones. Smart devices and technology continue to make us less intelligent, lazy and dependent on our devices to make it through the day.

I worked at a Dunkin in high school. The scary part was how many people had drawers that were incorrect at the end of the shift... MULTIPLE TIMES. That meant either they were stealing or giving back the wrong change... calculated by the register. And many of these people were not smart enough to even steal.

Sorry man....that has to be a rough thing to go through.

My wife is great....right now I have so much going on with work, my dad and his health issues, and other things beyond my control....that I sometimes take it for granted how good she is to me.

She's a beautiful woman and could really have her pick of most anyone, but she latched onto me for some reason.

Yeah, it's frustrating. Immensely frustrating. Sometimes I actually wish I had a 3rd world problem instead of a stack of first world ones...

Are you the ones with a relatively young child? Because if so, that kills the woman's libido worse than wedding cake.

But, it does get better. I seem to recall dry spells that lasted for 3-4 weeks easy when our kids were under 2 years old.

Yeah, 2yo kid. But it's not just that... I don't think so anyhow. I sure hope you're right! Anyhow, right now it's dry spells of about 6mo - 1 year. It's just not enough! Got some friends here with kids a similar age, and they're seeing the same thing too though. Man, it sucks!

Same here. I might have to carry cash again just to see it. I use my card for everything these days
