Huge difference between Plantation rum neat and Plantation rum on the rocks. Not really that big a difference with Scotch, but there sure is with the rum.

Man, all you guys talking about Plantation Rum--I love rum and have been looking for it but nothing yet. I've looked in Safeway, Target and a local liquor store so far. Going to try Bevmo soon.

Got a bottle of this on my bar - may actually be preferring the rye at the moment though.

I was sipping some of this cold after graduation Friday. My (adult) niece came in and I pour her a little glass which she downed like a shot. "Hey, this is good shit, you need to sip that!!!"
I ended up sipping two of them. . . |

Blast from the past, but I bought my dad a bottle of this as a first try at a sipping rum. It is pretty smooth!

Went to Bevmo and they had two different Plantation Rum's. That 20 year is a pretty penny--more than $50 a bottle, so I thought I'd start low and picked up the 5 year. Pretty good--really smooth with some complex flavors. I'm not a real Rum snob as I can drink Bacardi Gold neat. This is a step up.
