Sooo....looked what walked by my office this evening. Not much to shoot out here (at least not what interests me) so I was pretty excited. Was pitch black...used a little Mag-lite for lighting:

It's a web sharpen action I made on CS5. That's how it is when I try to save time and run my photos in a batch.

The Mag-lite actually worked out great due to being very mobile and not over-bearing...a much softer light than I expected versus those LED flashlights that have become so popular in the last few years. Being able to angle it for the best lighting was a big plus. I probably could have gotten a sharper shot but given the darkness and the subject I was not really gonna mess about to much |

My new 8mm. Love this thing. Just need to brush up on exposure settings. It tends to shoot to the right, so that's not bad. But I don't seem to be getting the contrast right.

Thanks, Seth. I'd love to get a shot of the city from the planetarium parking lot with this lens.

Nice shot, but what's with the reflections? Were you in another vehicle behind the Porsche?

I would have moved up the road just a little bit to try to get a spot where the road wouldn't go out of view until much later. Dave
