One of my preferred Bill Evans compositions, especially the calm and impromptu nature of it, with a lullaby vibe to it. Composed during his Miles Davis days in the late 50s when he was not even 30 (but unfortunately he was already using heroin - he never truly managed to get the heavy substance monkey off his back).
Compare with Chopin's "Berceuse - Op. 57" (which means "lullaby").
