From a Christmas standpoint, we watched "A Christmas Story Christmas".

It was fun, in a nostalgic way. If you liked "A Christmas Story", you'll probably like this one.

Fun fact: All of the kids from the first one are the adults in the second one. i.e. they're physically the same people (everyone except the mom-- she's retired from acting). Kind of interesting to see how Flick, Farkus, etc. ended up.

They talked about that being the case as obviously the killer will know what's up but they decided to take the risk.

Anyway, curiously I thought this was better than the first movie, didn't really think either was all that but I like the 2nd one more.

Well, if there were good parts they need to put some of them at the beginning to keep you involved. I got about halfway through and thought it was utter shite. Was very disappointed, and it starred Brad Pitt, who just won an Academy award in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

i got to be honest... there is no way to spin that... lol... was andi supposed to be like oh, the dude didnt actually try to kill me... i think miles was perhaps just an idiot which still doesnt make sense since he was a billionaire

I forgot who's who already, Andi's the sister? Well, Miles didn't wanna blow his cover that he's the killer right away. He was also curious as to how it's gonna play out and waiting for his time on how to handle it properly, which he did when he literally took his shot.

I saw Devotion recently. It's the true story set during the Korean War. I wasn't expecting it to be very good, but I was presently surprised. I went to see it because it features the F4U Corsair.

My dad flew the Corsair and he was there flying over Chosin Reservior on the same date as the key battle scene in the movie. He told me about his time there and the movie depicts his account of that horrible time very closely.

I think the flight scenes were handled by the same people who did the recent Top Gun movie. While the F4U is no jet, it was a great plane for its day and the movie shows it off well.

Check it out if you are into this kind of movie.

Anyone seen Avatar? What you guys think? I don't normally like to watch 3D movies but I heard this one is really good 3D. Also 3.5 hours is a bit too much at once. I would probably fall asleep lol.

Stop motion animation!!! I watched the 30min "Making of...", and it was really impressive - a 15 year journey! With that said, I still haven't watched it. hahahahaaa... so... ??

Unfortunately, that famade trailer for The Exorcist is w hodgepodge of different movie scenes isn't any footage from the upcoming reboot.
