when engines were measured in cubic inches. My mom drove a Buick with a 430 cu in motor (yeah 7.0 L). You know the car has too much power when your mom was always lighting them up by accident.

I remember watching her show Mistress of the Dark when I was in College in LA, my room mate and I would drink beer and eat pizza and put Elivira on.

Programming 8080-8086 assembly language for an R3 test set for the Navy QF-4 drones, among other targets. Often times the other drones would be launched pointed at teh range, and when they hit the target area would never wake up and run their scenario. Choppers had to chase them down until they ran out of fuel and then haul them back to Mugu.

I remember dad coming home from work with a car full of those cartridge hard drive discs. I think that is what he called them, anyway, they would hold 33mb of data and were as big as an lp record, and were gold plated. You would individually stack them in the order you wanted into the cartridge, then lower the cartridge into the hard drive machine. I think the cartridge would hold six of those discs. We used to throw them off the deck and shoot them with a shotgun.

Here is another blast from the past, I'm glad prices have come down.

Didn't the CEO of IBM once say computers were nice and there are a few uses for them but the world only needs about 5 or 6 of them?
